This large contemporary open kitchen plan – nearly 700 sq. ft. – is a one-of-a-kind project that completely changed the layout of the original kitchen and family area. Not only did Bricewood design a custom solution to completely move the kitchen to the opposite side of the room to create and take advantage of a newly opened view of their wooded lot, they also included a sitting area with an acoustic slat wood ceiling, a large walk in pantry with 360º lighting, and a one-of-a-kind bar and media area. Flowing horizontal-grained custom walnut cabinets, quartz, limestone, stainless steel and Dekton countertops, and a unique Ortal fireplace with 2Stone cement veneer also accent the space. This kitchen was also featured in the Rochester Womens Magazine Remodelers Corner in their November/December 2018 issue.
